Fooded with punk-rock when he was young, RAK DEE CAL fall from naked at the time of MEGADOG events in England; in the beginning of the 90's, mixing electro sound-systems and rave parties. From this time, his main influences fall under eclecticism like those parties where DREADZONE is just next to ADRIAN SHERWOOD and his label UNO Sound.
White energy and black groove are in his various DJ selections, AFRICAN HEAD CHARGE/ALPHA & OMEGA/DUB SYNDICATE/GROUNDATION are melt with the soft dub from Vienna, the obscure BASIC CHANNEL and new labels like LUMP/BURIAL/METEOSOUND or HYPERDUB...
But this "dub from space", then defined, is often associated with the electro universe. With disrespect, selector RAK mixes are often rocked by sounds which bring us with the borders of weightlessness.... FREE THE BASS AND CHECK OUT!!!!
